Job description
Ensure the company’s operations in Singapore comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, including those set by MAS and other relevant authorities.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance programs, risk management frameworks, and policies in line with company standards and local regulations.
Serve as the designated Compliance Officer and/or Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) where required.
Oversee the due diligence process for clients and partners, ensuring robust KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring controls.
Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and audits to local regulators and ensure ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
Collaborate with global compliance and legal teams to ensure alignment on policies and regulatory interpretations.
Oversee the day to day operations of the Singapore office, ensuring smooth administrative, logistical, and personnel related processes.
Act as the primary point of contact for local stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure the branch office is adequately resourced and operates efficiently, maintaining a professional and compliant environment.

Job requirements
7 plus years of professional experience in compliance risk management or AML roles within the financial services or fintech sector
Relevant Bachelor degree required Master degree is an advantage
Proven managerial experience with the ability to lead mentor and manage the global compliance team both professionally and personally
In depth knowledge of Singapore regulatory environment and MAS regulations
Strong expertise in KYC AML frameworks risk assessment and transaction monitoring
High level of English proficiency is required
Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
